CHRISTA BELLA – Therapist & Customer Service
Christa grew up learning from her mother how to run a business. As a small girl she helped stock shelves and do inventory in her mother’s health food store. During high school she became an expert floral designer and helped manage her parent’s floral business. While in high school she was nominated 3 years in a row for Who’s Who in High School students in Applied Art. In her college years, she earned 2 AA degrees (in Applied Arts and Language & Literature), was on the Dean’s list and was involved in theater & film. All the while, she continued to work as a floral designer and did lots of volunteer work, including managing the local animal shelter’s lost and found program.
In 1992, her mother’s illness instigated her to change directions in her life. It was at that point she was inspired to go back to school and focus on ‘healing.’ She has been doing massage ever since, but still has other interests that comes her way. She continues to pursue theater, film and other applied artistic endeavors, has worked as a chauffeur for a time, and in 2006 she started working for Amtrak. Yes, as romantic as it sounds, that is where she met her husband, Tom. As much as she enjoyed her excursions on the train as a Lead Service Attendant, she is very happy now to be back doing massage & spa services full time, and providing a space for others to visit and find a bit of ‘blissful tranquility.’ She feels so blessed to be a part of this very special community.
